Angelina Smith is a student at Wayne State University in Detroit. She is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a focus on global health, social medicine, and medical ethics. After graduating, Smith plans on continuing her education to gain more credibility in health policy and health inequity intervention.
Smith’s current professional role is the manager at a local plant-based ice cream shop where they serve high-quality organic products and create meaningful community collaborations. Within this role, Smith has developed her skills in leadership and social media marketing.
In her free time, Smith is an avid artist taking on many different mediums. While Smith specializes in photography and acrylic painting, she has a special appreciation for creating 3-dimensional or mixed media works. Smith brings a creative touch to every aspect of her life.
Smith enjoys living life to the fullest and making connections everywhere she goes. Every minute she can is spent immersing herself in her community. You will find her at the farmer’s market, in a yoga class, trying new restaurants, or listening to local live music. Smith finds herself and joy in her volunteer and activist work.
